/ Why is there a need for Personal Watch Alarm given that there are many other existing products in the market? There are several good personal alarm products in the market. However almost all have one feature in common: they have to be carried or kept in a way that can make it difficult to use them quickly in an emergency, especially for the elderly. Those that are in the form of key chains typically require a handbag to carry them or trousers/ jeans pocket. Others need to be hooked to the trousers/ jeans belt loop. Given today's lifestyle where we like to just get off the sofa and head for the door with little more than a smartphone in hand, such devices do not lend themselves to easy alignment to our lifestyles. Furthermore, in an emergency (or perceived emergency) the person remains worried about the time and effort it would require to take the device out of the handbag or pocket, and activate it.

/ Why is the Personal Watch Alarm better than alternative products? - It is disguised as a fully functioning digital watch, hence it is discrete. - It is worn like a watch, hence the convenience and ease of use in case of emergency. - From a security/ safety standpoint, when activated, the alarm emits a piercing 125 db siren and LED light begins to flash. It can be easily activated in an emergency by sliding a button. - It leaves both hands free while the alarm continues to sound. - There is lesser risk of it dropping or being snatched.

/ How easy is it to carry/ use? It's dual function as a watch and an emergency alarm, makes it ideal for those who do not like to carry too many items. For the younger users, Personal Watch Alarm's key strength is the way it integrates into the current style of living: you do not need to carry a handbag or require a pocket to carry your emergency alarm. Whether you are stepping out for a jog, going shopping, or going to a social/ public event - it is there on your wrist.

/ Maintenance Please read the manufacturer's instructions on the cover. The alarm is battery operated, therefore please replace the batteries when due.

/ Power/ Charging Rechargeable Lithium battery. Use the supplied USB tp to recharge. The product shows 4 LED lights to display charge-level: each LED lamp represents 25% of the power. 6/ How loud is the 125 DB siren sound? "125 – 155 decibels: Like, firecrackers or fireworks, or a jet engine".
